From May 12, Palace Encore! will be presenting Beyond the Infinite: The Influences and Films of Christopher Nolan. In celebration of Nolan’s highly anticipated upcoming release Oppenheimer on July 20, we’ve hand-picked a selection of the iconic filmmaker’s most influential epics – including a marathon of The Dark Knight Trilogy – and some from his greatest influences Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, and Fritz Lang. Experience 20 years of the cerebral, mind-bending worlds of Nolan from 2000’s breakthrough hit, Memento, to his latest 2020 psychological sci-fi action thriller, Tenet, along with a sprinkling of the legendary influences of his cinematic style including; Blade Runner, Metropolis, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
